Grocery Store Programs
Designate our organization as a beneficiary through the community support program funded by your local grocery store. To activate this, you need one time only to associate a particular number to your shopping card and then every time you shop using that card, the Houston Choral Showcase is allocated a portion of the store profits.
Randalls Good Neighbor Program: At the Courtesy Booth, ask for your Remarkable Card to be linked to Houston Choral Showcase, using the account number 2291. Once you have made that link, every time you make a purchase using your Remarkable card, the total purchase will be automatically credited to Houston Choral Showcase and we will receive donations in proportion to the amount spent.
Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Program: Print out the Kroger customer letter that is provided on this web site. Then present the letter to your cashier upon checkout. Once the barcode and your Kroger Plus Card have been scanned you will be enrolled for the current year of the Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program. Every time you shop at Kroger and use your enrolled Kroger Plus Card, Kroger will contribute a percentage of your eligible purchases to the Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation fund. Once a Kroger Plus Card has been linked to the barcode, this link will be active for the remainder of the program year (until April 30, 2010). Houston Choral Showcase will receive a portion of the $1 million that Kroger is donating in proportion to the amount of earned contributions attributable to HCS.
Online Searching and Shopping
If you perform online searches, or shop through the Internet, then you can support Houston Choral Showcase through the GoodShop.com program. Any time you want to do an Internet search, start with this search page and a penny will be added to our account. That may not sound like much, but it all adds up when many people do this. Likewise, before you shop online, start with this shopping page and a portion of the merchant's profits will be donated to us. Donations
Houston Choral Showcase is a non-profit organization registered under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations to our organization are gratefully received and are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Funds received are used for operating expenses and support of the free community perfomances that we do. Please consider mailing us a check with this donation form you can print out, or make a secure online contribution using the button to your left. Host a Sparkling Pig
We have customized Houston Choral Showcase piggy banks available for temporary adoption. Could you host one in your home or at your business for a few months so that he can collect donations on our behalf? Pick up a piggy bank at our next show or contact us by phone or email to make other arrangements.
Auction Donations
Houston Choral Showcase hosts an annual Auction & Dinner in August. This very successful event is made possible by generous donation of items or services that are sold at the auction. If you are able to donate something, please contact us.
Volunteer
There are many ways that volunteers can support Houston Choral Showcase. We are always looking for ways to help spread the load and if you care to join the team, we'll find a good match for your abilities and interests. Maybe you could hand out programs at a show, help with bookkeeping or marketing, serve on a committee, make phone calls, or any number of other tasks that are needed to keep things running smoothly. Come and See Us
We encourage you to attend our events so that you can share the enjoyment. Our major public shows are in June and December. In addition, we hold an annual fundraising Auction & Dinner in August.
